A small informal memorial gathering for Arnita Lahoma Vargas, 82, of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma will be at 4 pm, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Cleo Springs Park in the Square. Cremation arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Arnita Lahoma Vargas was born November 5, 1935 to Dick and Maccie (McGuire) Roberts in Cole, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on Monday, July 23, 2018 after a long illness and will be greatly missed.

Arnita married Coy Cossey in Madera, California. The couple were blessed with four sons and a daughter; Michael, Darwin, Nathen, Billy and Shannan. She worked many years in all forms of food service. She was a long time Chickasha resident before moving to Cleo Springs to be with her daughter.

Left to cherish her memory is daughter Shannan Harrell of the home, sons, Darwin Cossey, Nathen Cossey and Billy Cossey, two brothers Dale Roberts and Caril Roberts, two sisters; Edna Mier and Faye Fredrickson, thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, son Michael, five brothers and two sisters.
