Graveside Services for Asa John Voth, 73, of Longdale, will be at 10:30a.m.,Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Bethel Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma. The Reverend Ray Schoonmaker will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc..
Asa John Voth was born November 19, 1937 south of Fairview, Oklahoma to Reuben John and Marie Edith (Janzen) Voth and passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Integris Pavilion, Enid, Oklahoma.
John grew up in the Fairview area and attended high school to the eleventh grade. On May 24, 1958 he married Helen Louise Cramer in Fairview, Oklahoma. They were blessed with three children, Linda, Susan and John. He was a farmer and truck driver most of his life. John worked for several oilfield companies. He also worked at the Fairview Public Schools, Major County District 3 and the City of Fairview and farmed for Herb Schmidt and Leonard Voth. John loved to spend time at the Longdale Gym listening to country music as well going to Fairview Senior Citizen Center
Asa John is survived by; son John P. Voth and wife Darla of Fairview; two daughters, Susan M. Kehnemund and husband Kerry of Okeene, Oklahoma, Linda J. Walls and husband Benny of Enid; two brothers, Sam Voth and wife Geneva of Orienta , Oklahoma, and Charles Voth and wife Connie of Pyatt, Arkansas; one sister, Vera Bouse and husband Joe of Harrah, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Christy Bratz, Nicole Walls, Brandi Lowder, Jason Corkery, Jade Corkery, Jenny Corkery, Janice Vizarelis, Janean Reese and J.T. Voth; and 15 great-grandchildren, Bailey Bratz, Kobe Wuestenberg, Kinzlie Walls, Jace Walls, Erynn Lowder, Waylee Lowder, Jacob Corkery, Joseph Corkery, Jobi Corkery, Ezra Reese, Judah Reese, Zebulun Reese, Kelsey Corkery and Caleb Corkery, and, Dimitri Vizarelis.
Asa John was preceded in death by his parents Reuben and Marie (Janzen) Voth, wife Helen Voth and twin brothers, Leroy and Leon Voth.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Longdale School Association with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodian.
