Funeral services for Barbara Jo Hubble, 71, of Fairview, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the Fairview Church of the Nazarene,  Fairview, Oklahoma.  Pastor Ricky Chance and Pastor Brandee Roof will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.   Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Barbara was born on February 20, 1949, the oldest of three girls, to Robert Benjamin Gould and Anna Lou (Woolman) Peil and passed peacefully on September 15, 2020, at her home just west of Fairview,

Barbara grew up as a child moving with her family from one place to another.  She was born in Oklahoma and then they moved to California, Tennessee, Kansas, North Dakota, and then back to Fairview Oklahoma where she and her sisters made their home.  In 1970 Barbara married Lonnie Ernest Hubble and they made their home in Fairview.  They were soon blessed with three girls, Brandy, Heidi, and Misty.  While raising her girls, Barbara worked in many different locations as a cook.  She worked at Queens Kitchen, the Fairview Hospital, the Fairview Fellowship Home where she was Activities Director which she truly loved and then back to the hospital as a cook.  Barbara enjoyed cooking and was very good at it.  She not only raised her three girls but also loved taking care of her grandchildren as much as she could.  Barbara was a very loved woman by her family and friends and will be truly missed.

Barbara is survived by her girls, Brandy Anderson and her husband Gary, Heidi Unruh and her husband Monty, and Misty Hubble, two sisters Beverly McMurphy and husband Mike, and Donna Gould and her husband Ed, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lonnie, and her mother and father-in-law Claire and Ella Rena Hubble

Memorials can be made to the Fairview Nazarene Church or the Fairview Hospital Foundations with the funeral home acting as custodian.
