Obituary

Graveside Services for Beatrice Fern Ellsworth, 81, will be held Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Canton Cemetery. Arrangements made by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 9am to 5 pm and Tursday before the service from 9 am to noon.


Beatrice Fern Ellsworth was born May 20, 1931 to Lee Roy and Katherine Marie (Shellenberger) Pester on a farm south of Longdale, OK.

Before school Bea would go out and bring the milk cow up for milking, feed chickens, water the gardens, help cook and cleaned house. During the summers all the kids would go to the pond to swim and this is how Bea received her nick name of fish bait. During WWII Bea helped hand out food from the military to the needy families. Bea Married Wayne Ellsworth and to the union was born three children, Valerie, Barbara and Ricky.

Bea was always there when family or friends needed something

She is survived by her daughters Valerie Shields and husband Robby of Spearman, TX and Barbara Glover and husband LR of Woodward; son, Ricky Ellsworth and his life partner David Webb of Oklahoma City; grandson, Anthony Glover; sister Carol Tucker of Fairview, many nieces and nephews, family, friends and numerous four legged grandchildren.

Bea is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Katherine Pester, three brothers, Pete Pester and 2 infants, three sisters, Hazel Houston and Francis Chain and 1 infant.
