Graveside Services for Bobbie Dale Archer, 64, will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Orion Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma. The Reverend Orville White will officiate. Visitation at the funeral home will be Wednesday 9 to 5 and Thursday 9 to 8. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Bobbie Dale Archer was born October 9, 1943 to Kenneth Dale Archer and Leona F. Warner Archer Moore. He crossed over Monday, April 21, 2008 at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City after many health problems.
Bob grew up at Bado, Oklahoma. He went on harvest with his Dad and Mom during the summers. Bob married Willma Burnett in 1962 and together they had 3 children; Bobbie, Bryan and Donna. Bob drove for Amrigas in 1985, where he met Anita Parks and they were married July 18, 1986 in Enid, Oklahoma. Bob and Anita moved to Clinton where he was a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at a half- way house. From Clinton, they moved to Wetumpka, Oklahoma. In 1992, they moved back by his home place and established their home, the AR Ranch. After moving home, he went into Private Investigating, farming, and was a member of the American Legion where he provided phone support.
Bobbie is survived by his wife Anita of the home; one son, Bryan Dale Archer and Arllette Rigsby of Thomas, OK; two daughters; Bobbie Sauls and husband Mike Cope of Calumet, OK, Donna Barnes and husband Jason of Horn Lake, MS, one brother, Terry Archer and wife Karen of Fairview; one sister, Darlene Moore and husband Willard of Bethany, OK; mother Leona F. Warner Archer Moore and step- father Wilbur Moore of Chester, OK; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grand children.
Bobbie was preceded in death by his father and 1 great granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Orion Cemetery; Fairview American Legion King Hagen Post 51; or OMRF Pulmonary, with Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
