Funeral Services for: Carol Anne (Robbins) Nightengale, 75, of Cleo Springs, will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Fairview Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Square Cedar Cemetery north of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Carol Anne (Robbins) Nightengale was born April 16, 1933 in Minot, North Dakota to Charles Albert and Lillian Geneva (Greeley) Robbins and passed away on November 23, 2008 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma due to complications from diabetes.

Viewing will be 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 26, 2008 and prior to the service at Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Carol married John Nightengale on February 19, 1950 in Isabella, Oklahoma. The couple spent a large portion of their married life on the road following John's occupation in the construction field. They celebrated 58 years of marriage.
Carol loved accordion music, cats, cooking and eating, jewelry, having her nails done, and her North Dakota memories. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, John Nightengale of Cleo Springs; daughter Laurel "Lolly" Rich and husband Richard of Cleo Springs; sons John Nightengale Jr. of Clinton, Oklahoma, Kelly Nightengale and wife Laurie of Cleo Springs, Leslie Nightengale and wife Sue of Aline, Oklahoma, Wayne Nightengale and wife Nancy of Carrollton, Illinois; brother David Robbins and wife Pamela of Henefer, Utah; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles; one sister, Grace Mary Denton and one daughter, Sandra Ruth Robinson and one granddaughter, Kelly Sue.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Diabetes Association with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodian.
