Obituary

Memorial Services for Herbert David Raymond, Jr. of Longdale, Oklahoma will be 10:00 am, Saturday, 2 February 2008 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Rockville, CT. Father Richard Ricard will officiate. He was cremated per his request. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc in Oklahoma.

David Raymond was born June 13, 1955 in Hartford, Connecticut to Herbert David Raymond, Sr. and Hazel (Fulsom) Raymond and passed away at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma on January 15, 2008.

David graduated from high school in Manchester, Connecticut and attended several college classes. David married Penny Crawford and they were blessed with two children, Jason and Tara. He later married Joanne and they were blessed with twin sons, Kyle and Joshua. On September 12, 1992, he wed Patricia Barbato in Brimfield, Massachusetts. They moved to Oklahoma in 1994. David worked as a Promotion Specialist for Mobile Marketing. He was an avid NASCAR fan and felt privileged to be a transportation driver for one of the NASCAR drivers. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Fairview. David had a great sense of humor and truly enjoyed life. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Raymond of Longdale; mother Hazel Raymond and step-father Rigo Bianchi of Ellington, Connecticut; three sons, Jason Ruchti and Tammy of Mapleton, Iowa, Kyle Raymond and Joshua Raymond of Florida; one daughter, Tara Davis and Peter of Onawa, Iowa; four sisters, Sally Grant and James of Willington, Connecticut, Linda Manning and Art of South Windsor, Connecticut; Dorothy Dellarippa of Rockville, Connecticut and Carol Brennan and Paul, of Vernon, Connecticut; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert David Raymond, Sr. and brothers-in-law Robert Manning and Michael Dellarippa.

Memorials may be made to O.M.R.F Cancer Division with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodians of the funds.
