Graveside services for Dawn Anna Nightingale, 56, of Isabella, will be 11a.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Cedar Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Dawn Anna Nightingale (Bernardi) was born to Steve and Norma Bernardi November 27, 1961 in Carlsbad New Mexico. She passed away Friday April 27 th , 2018 at the Fairview Hospital. For the past few years Dawn Anna has spent her time at home with family, battling health challenges following the loss of her husband, ultimately passing away from complications.

Dawn Anna's childhood was spent in Carlsbad New Mexico until the family moved to Adamson, OK joining Adamson Baptist Church. Dawn Anna grew up in Adamson and attended school in the Hartshome Public Schools. Dawn Anna enjoyed Band in her younger years playing the clarinet and acting as a majorette as well as being a member of the FHA and working on the Family Farm. Upon high school graduation in 1980 Dawn Anna attended Eastern State College in Wilburton, OK. Dawn met her future husband in the fall of 1981 and married soon after on June 11, 1982 back in McAlester, Oklahoma. Dawn spent the rest of her days in Isabella raising three children April, Renae, and Kaycie. She was very active in her children's education attending and helping with FHS Band events, 4-H, FFA, and TSA events.

Dawn Anna worked as a Certified Nursing Aide and a Certified Medication Aide for many years looking after the elderly at Fairview Fellowship Home and Summit Healthcare. After Dawn Anna's career had come to an end she enjoyed spending time with her family looking after her grandson Kyle and spoiling her younger grandson Michael any chance she got.

Dawn Anna is survived by her three children April and David Marcrum of Edmond, OK, Renae and Joel Hadley of the home, Kaycie and Nathan Hardin of Rangely, CO, her mother Norma Jean Bernardi, father Steve Bernardi, two grandchildren, Kyle and Michael with one on the way, two sisters Janice Weaver and Cynthia Bernardi- Valenzuela, one step son Michael Eugene and Melissa Nightingale, her mother and father-in-law Earl and Dolores Nightingale, one brother-in-law Joe Nightingale, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Her passing was untimely, and she will be missed by many in the years to come without her.

She is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Jack Nightingale, a sister-in-law Trudy Schmidt, and her beloved husband that is surely waiting for her at heavens gates, Eugene Earl Nightingale.
