Funeral Services for Donald Wayne Davis, 57 of Fairview will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in the Central Christian Church with burial in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Don was born February 20, 1955 in Oklahoma City to his mother Betty Jean (Austin) Davis-Fike and Lewis Fike and died March 24, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Don went to work after high school for a short time in the construction business and then became a welder and worked for Ornamental Iron. Donnie loved welding and did it for many years. Later he went to work for Mike Bryant and continued welding. On September 16, 1978, Don married Pamela Howard in Oklahoma City. To this union were born two children, Jennifer and Josh. A few years later, Don went to work for Phillips and moved to Fairview. Donnie then married his second wife Renee Parrish on "Friday" October 13, 1989. At this time his family grew with two step children, Chandler and Chelsey. Later, Donnie and Renee had a daughter Shelby. Don loved playing softball and played for 24 years. Don also enjoyed talking with people and spending time at the casino. Don loved his children and grandchildren and spending time with them. Don will be missed by all who knew him.
Don is survived by his wife Renee of the home, two daughters, Jennifer Davis of Tulsa and Shelby Davis of Stillwater; son, Josh Davis and wife Audra of Tulsa; two step children, Chandler Chill and wife Heather of Fairview and Chelsey and husband Trey Williams of Waukomis; brothers, Junior Davis and wife Kathey of Norman and Lewis Fike II of Oklahoma City; sister, Cathy Bonitz and husband Larry of Oklahoma City; one grandson Carson Davis and five step grandchildren, Madisyn, Makayla, Makynlee, Ryan, and Rylee, and many other family members.
Don was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, sister Mary Gasway, and C.B Matteson, Junior Garman, Jim Kliewer, and Mike Browning .
Memorials may be made to the Central Christian Church of OMRF lung division with Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
