Memorial Services for Douglas Bryan Shepherd are planned for 1:30 PM, February 2, 2019, at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Oklahoma near his father and grandparents.

Douglas Bryan Shepherd, Age 60, passed away on October 9, 2018 after a brief hospital stay. He was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.

Doug was born February 3, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas. He lived with his mom, dad and sister for the better part of his youth in Boulder, Colorado.  His love of the mountains came from time spent with his dad and grandparents fishing the streams of Colorado. He and his dad participated in Youth Sports and Youth Service Organizations.  After graduation from Fairview High School in Boulder, he enlisted in the United States Air Force.  He was honorably discharged as a Senior Airman after 4 years of service.  He passed away only 9 months after his beloved father, Sidney Lee Shepherd.

He leaves behind mother, Gloria Weixelman, daughter, Jessica Shepherd, sister, Denise Shepherd Baldwin, grandchildren, Jesse Reed, Adriana Stewart and Harrison Reed along with nephews, cousins and friends. His much loved dogs, Rowdy and Thumper, still miss him.
