There will be no service at this time for Eugene A. Wilson, 73, of Fairview. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Eugene was born December 2, 1942 to James LeRoy and Elsie Mae (Rehl) Wilson in Canton, Oklahoma and passed away May 7, 2016, at his home in Fairview.
Eugene graduated from Fairview High School in 1961. After High School he went to Central State then transferred to Northwest OSU and then to Southwestern OSU Vo-tech in El Reno and then back to Central State. He worked as a Well Site Geologist at Ker McGee for 30 years working in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Louisiana
In 1962 Eugene married Janice Taylor and they were blessed with 2 boys and 1 girl. At the young age of 29 Angie passed away after a long battle with Lupus. In 2016 he married Linda Carrol. He loved to fish, hunt, and take care of his yard and planting flowers. He loves spending time with friends and family. He never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Angie Wilson.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Linda Carroll, of the home; two sons, Brad and wife Sandy Wilson, Bret Wilson; one brother, Sam (Bud) L. and wife Judy Wilson; one sister, Sonja and husband Robert Glenn along with many grandchildren.
