Harold R. Koehn was born to Nathaniel C. and Linda (Kehn) Koehn on January 17, 1924 on the family farm southwest of Fairview, Oklahoma. He departed this life on June 6, 2010 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, reaching the age of 86 years old.

Harold spent his childhood years on his parent's farm and received his education at the Green Valley School. During WWII, he spent time in Ft. Collins, Colorado helping with humanitarian projects. On July 20, 1946, he was united in marriage to Ruby Wedel at Fairview, Oklahoma. On March 19, 1950, they were both baptized in the Church of God In Christ Mennonite. Harold loved the Lord and was a faithful Christian all his life.

Harold and Ruby spent most of their married life in the Ringwood area. He was a bricklayer by trade, and in latter years was an accomplished handyman. He loved to fish and for many years had commercial fish ponds. Harold had a gentle, kind, and meek nature. He was a helpful, patient man with a very generous, giving spirit. During his retirement years, he spent many hours volunteering his services at church, school, and for his neighbors and friends. He also loved to spread the Gospel through tract work. Harold and Ruby's home was never blessed with children, but his extended family was very near to him.

Harold is survived by four brothers, Lawrence and wife Alvina, Claude and wife Elsie, Leonard and wife Joy Belle, Martin and wife June, all of Ringwood, Oklahoma; one sister, Rosetta and husband Milferd Schmidt of Livingston, California; two sisters-in-law, Waunita Koehn of Okeene, Oklahoma, Mary Helen Koehn of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby; three brothers; and one sister.
