Graveside Services for J. C. Stephens Jr., 87 of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Fairview and Enid, will be 10:30 A.M. on Monday, 8 February 2016 at the Isabella Cemetery, Isabella, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
J. C. Stephens Jr. was born 20 October 1928 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Jethro Cyrus "JC" and Mary Francis (Mitchell) Stephens and passed away at the Olathe Medical Center on February 3, 2014.
J. C. grew up in the Clinton area then moved with his family to Canton Oklahoma and graduated from Canton High School in 1946. After graduation he went on to continue his education at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma. J. C. received and BA degree in accounting. He went to work as an accountant in the oil and gas industry, working for DelHi for many years. After retiring from DelHi, he went to work for OneOK. J. C. worked for them for 26 years.
J. C. was an alumni and supporter as well as big fan of OSU. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be truly missed.
J. C. is survived by his wife Mary, two daughters; Joyce Silva and Norma Moritz, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded by his parents Jethro Cyrus "JC" and Mary Francis Stephens and one sister Shirley Brickman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodian.
