Funeral Services for Jackie Lee Bromlow, 72, of Gage, Oklahoma will be at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Fairview Central Christian Church with burial following in the Bethel Cemetery west of Fairview. The Reverend Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Jackie Lee Bromlow was born in Fairview, Oklahoma, July 4, 1943 to Jack Jasper and Verda Fay (Wallis) Bromlow and passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home in Gage, Oklahoma.
As a young child Jackie moved with his family to Pampa, Texas where he graduated from Pampa High School. In 1961, Jackie married Myrna Pope and they were blessed with three children before they divorced in 1973. Then he met Susan White and on April 16, 1974 they were married and made their home in Pampa where they were blessed with two children. Jackie and Susan moved to Gage, Oklahoma in 1992.
He was a loving father and husband and a good provider for the family. Jackie worked as a mechanic and as a machinist. He retired from Simmons Machine in Woodward, Oklahoma in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising cattle and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jackie is survived by his wife, Susan, of the home, four sons, Jackie Lee Bromlow Jr. of Texas, Mark Lin Bromlow of California, Byron Ray Bromlow and wife Mary of New Jersey, and Patrick Allan Bromlow of Oklahoma, and one daughter, Amber Janine Bromlow of Oklahoma. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Brandon, Justin, Dustin, Ashton, BreAnna, Sarina, Sara, and Karissa as well as three great- grandchildren, Lakin, Ryder and one on the way, Sailor, He is also survived by his brother, Garold Bromlow, sister Rita McCown and husband Larry and sister Brenda Taylor and husband Dan.
