Celebration of Life for Jamie Ann Fortune, 52, of Fairview, Oklahoma will be held at 1 pm, Friday, January 18, 2013 at the Fairview Methodist Church with Reverend Rich Redinger officiating. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Jamie was born August 7, 1960 to John and Ruth (Taylor) Lawrence in Atchison, Kansas and passed away January 14, 2013 at her home in Fairview.

What is a lifetime? For Jamie Ann Fortune, 52 is a lifetime. Her lifetime captured, wedded and loved her prince charming in 1977 never looking back. Jamie's lifetime carried, mothered, nurtured, and grew two adoring daughters. Jamie's lifetime filled countless days with mischievous childhood antics filled with innocent laughter and play with sisters and brothers. Jamie's lifetime became Gy. A lifetime of embracing new babies into her cradling arms with songs of love and silly fun. A lifetime of beaming with pride of her growing family and her new future. Jamie's lifetime counseled, listened, advised, mentored, and embraced anyone near her. Her magnetism touched and changed everyone surrounding her with her witty and goofy character. Jamie's lifetime began with her mother Ruth Taylor Lawrence and father John Lawrence, both have passed.

Her lifetime will be mourned yet celebrated by an adoring husband, Danny Fortune; two daughters and sons-in law, Zach and Miranda Worden and Jamie and Felicia McClure; 5 grandchildren, Isaac, Savannah, and Cheyenne Worden, Kami and Lola McClure; 4 sisters, Brenda Birchfield, Kathy Madere, Peggy Lawrence, and Valerie Hayslett; 5 brothers, Larry Lawrence, Chuck Lawrence, Michael Lawrence, Andy Lawrence, and Joe Lawrence; and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

She lost a precious sister Patricia Johansen that she missed dearly.

But a lifetime can end without notice and without asking. Jamie's lifetime while taken from us all is now at rest in her Savior's arms at peace and rest. She is free and dancing with her King. Until we meet again, we love you and will forever miss you.
