Obituary

The family of Jeffery Alan Gates will be having a come and go Wake for family and friends at 106 N. 1st Street in Cleo Springs, on Sunday, 16 October, 2011, between the hours of 10 am to 2 pm. Jeffery was cremated per his request. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Jeffery Alan Gates was born September 17, 1964 in Bellevue, Washington to Larry Leroy and Judy Dianne (Epley) Gates and died October 12, 2011 at his home.

Jeffery grew up in Vashon, Washington graduating from Vashon High School in 1983. On May 2nd, 1985 Jeffery join the United States Army. During his six and a half year career in the Army he was stationed in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Fort Stewart, Georgia, Fort Poke, Louisiana and Germany. In 1991, Jeffery was Honorable Discharged and he returned home. He went to work for the Ford Motor Company and became a trained and certified mechanic. He worked for Ford for several years and then moved to Oklahoma where he worked in the Oil Industry as a Oilfield Mechanical Engineer until he passed away at his home Wednesday.

Jeffery loved to work on and restore old muscle cars as well as assembling model cars, planes and trains. He was a hardworking man that was loved and will be truly missed.

Jeffery is survived by his wife Beverly Jozwiak, two sons, two step-sons, one daughter, his brother Patrick Gates, and three grandchildren.

His parents and one sister Lilly preceded Jeffery in death.
