Obituary

Graveside Funeral Services for Pauline Keeton, 96, of Fairview, will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Oklahoma. Bishop George Curtis will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

There will be no viewing on Easter Sunday at the family's request. Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday and 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Jesse Pauline Keeton was born September 17, 1911 in Kline Colorado to Wallace Rodolphus and Evaline (Biggs) Eaton and passed away March 20, 2008 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Pauline attended school at Kline, Colorado. She married William Lawrence Keeton on October 26, 1935 in Durango, Colorado. They moved to eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas in 1940. Pauline enjoyed baking, crocheting and pieced quilts. All five children completed the quilts. They moved to the Fairview area in the early 1970's. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Pauline was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Kennard Keeton and wife Ruth of Lahoma, K.W. Keeton and wife Darlene of Enid; one daughter, Iola Keeton of Fairview; one sister, Flora Kennedy of Farmington, New Mexico; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Dallas Dunger, daughter Joyce Smith; two sisters and six brothers and one great-granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodian.
