Memorial Service for Joe Bob "Boe" Gibson, 75, will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 28th, 2009 at the 7th Day Church of God in Fairview Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Joe was born January 7th, 1934 in Winnsboro Texas to Arch & Ruby Simpson Gibson. He passed away Saturday July 25th, 2009 at the Fairview Fellowship Home in Fairview, Oklahoma after a lengthy illness.
On May 15th, 1964 he married Joann Pace in Enid, Oklahoma where they remained until moving to Fairview in 1986. He worked in the oilfields his entire life until becoming ill June of 2008.
He is survived by 6 children. Alice, Don, Amy and Abby all of Fairview; Dean of Dallas, Texas and Bob of Baytown, Texas. One grandson, Brad and one great grandson, Hunter both of Fairview. He is also survived by one brother, Wayne of Drummond, Oklahoma.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife Joann of 40 years, four brothers and two sisters.
