Joseph Neil Sullivan was born September 3, 1940 in St Louis, Missouri to Robert and Norma (Mitchell) Sullivan and passed away February 21, 2013 in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Joe grew up in a family of ten brothers and sisters. While growing up he worked in gas stations and nurseries where he learned his two passions in life, mechanics and gardening. On June 23, 1962 Joe married his one true love, Margaret Hicks. They made their home in St. James, Missouri where he started working as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver in construction. They began their family of four children. Joe loved to spend as much time as he could taking his kids fishing and camping on the rivers and later at the lake when they moved to Oklahoma in 1980. He loved spring and summer and could sit outside for hours just watching and listening to nature. His greatest love was his grandchildren, Dustin, Brittany, Travis, Jaycee, Sonia, Joby , Kory and all ten of his great-grandchildren.

He is survived by sons, Don Sullivan, Darin and wife Pam Sullivan and Joe Sullivan JR,; daughter, Melissa Sullivan, brother, Don Sullivan, and sister, Charlotte Darnell, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.
