Joseph (Joe) was born March 30, 1957 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to A.J. and June Violet (Hall) Tarver and peacefully passed away on December 28, 2019 at his home in Fairview.

Joe grew up in Oklahoma City and attended school there.  In 1994 while working in the oil and gas industry, he moved to Fairview Oklahoma and met Susan Pembrook and they made their home in Fairview.  He continued to work in the oil and gas industry until his health failed in 2010.  At this time he went on disability and no longer could work but still stayed busy taking care of his granddaughter

Joe is survived by his wife Susan of the home; two sons A. J. Tarver and Ron Sloan and his wife Cindy; two daughters Tasha and Kayla Pembrook; Three brothers, Ray Lee Tarver, Freddy Gene Tarver, and Jerry Lee Tarver; two sisters, Sandra Kay Orso and Bobbie Vandnsen; 1 granddaughter, Matilda Prouty, and many nieces and nephews.

His parents, one grandson, and two brothers preceded him in death.
