Graveside Services for Jossie Mae (Berry) Martin Wettengel, 94, of Fairview, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview Oklahoma. Arrangements by the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Jossie Mae Wettengel was born March 3, 1922, northwest of Fairview, Oklahoma to Robert E. Lee Berry and Ella Jane (Wilcox) Berry and died and May 7, 2016 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Jossie was the ninth child of eleven children. She attended Roscoe School. In August of 1940 she married Arthur Elsworth Martin. To this union was born one daughter, Betty. Arthur was in the US Army, served in WWII, and was killed in action in Germany February 26, 1945. After his death Jossie remained in Fairview and worked in restaurants for five years. On October 16, 1948, she married Clinton Clyde Wettengel. They were blessed with one son, Robert. In 1952 she and her family moved to California. After her children were grown she worked for Montgomery Ward and Company for seven years in Stockton, California. In November of 1989 she and her husband Clint moved back to Fairview, Oklahoma. Clint died in 1999. Jossie continued to live in Fairview after his death. She was an active member of the Central Christian Church in Fairview.

She is survived by her daughter Betty Wallace and her husband Tom, two grandsons, Curtis Wallace and his wife Pat, and Trace Wallace and his wife Trish, all of Fairview, eight grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and sixteen great- great grandchildren.

Her parents, husband Arthur Martin, son Robert, husband Clinton Wettengel, one grandson, one granddaughter in law, all of her brothers, and sisters preceded her in death.

Memorials can be made through the Fairview Funeral Home Inc to the Central Christian Church of Fairview.
