Funeral services for Joyce Stanfill, 60, of Fairview, Okla. will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church, Fairview, Okla. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Okla. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Joyce Mae (Holloway) Stanfill was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Woodbury, N.J., to John and Doris Holloway and passed away Saturday, June 19, 2010, at Fairview Hospital, Fairview, Okla.

Joyce was born and raised in southern New Jersey. She graduated from Woodbury High School, Woodbury, N.J. in 1968 and also attended Gloucester County College in Sewell, N.J.

In 1971, Joyce married Steve Colna and to this union a daughter, Michelle Lee (Colna) Brown, was born. While living in New Jersey she worked for DHS.
In 1982, Joyce married Bill Stanfill and to this union a son, John Hamilton Stanfill, was born. The family moved to Vici, Okla. in 1984.

In 1989, Joyce and her two children moved and settled in Fairview.

She worked for DHS in Fairview and then attended Enid Beauty College in the early 90's and worked as a hair stylist at Fairview's Image for several years. She was also employed by Fairview Jiffy Trip, Key Energy, and had recently been employed with Great White Pressure Pumping in Woodward, Okla.

She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary at Union Fire Department, Westville, N.J. and also a member of Blue Star Mothers and Fairview Ambucs. She attended Fairview United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Brown and husband, Greg, of Fairview and son, John Stanfill and wife, Loni, of Moore, Okla.; one week old granddaughter, Jayce Rose Stanfill, of Moore, Okla.; two step-granddaughters, Amber Amason and her husband Chris, of Norman, Okla. and Stephanie Schatz and husband, Mike, of Enid, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Doris Holloway.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Joyce Stanfill Memorial with Fairview Funeral Home serving as custodian.
