Karen (Kacey) Billington's Obituary
Funeral Services for Karen Billington will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Fairview, OK under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Karen was born on December 24, 1941 in Enid, OK to Carl McMahan and Marie Overfelt McMahan and passed away suddenly on October 1, 2015 at her home in Fairview at the age of 73.
Karen attended school in North Enid and Kremlin, OK where she was raised by her Mom and stepfather, David Hale until his death in 1968. In 1961 she married Charles L Stevens. In 1987 she married Billy F. Billington and moved to Chickasha. Bill passed away in 1991 and she moved back to Fairview for a couple of years. She ended up back in Chickasha for the next 20 years. In October 2014 she retired and moved back to Fairview to be around her family.
She worked in local cafe's, grocery stores, Hotel restaurants and did catering all her life. When she returned to Fairview she became active in the First Baptist Church.
Karen enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandkids. She supported them in anything they did. She loved sports of all kinds but was especially a fan of Softball, Thunder Basketball and OU anything.
Karen is survived by her companion of 20 years, Wiley Charlson of Chickasha,OK; her sister, Linda McMichael of Fairview, OK and her daughters: Kathy Edingfield and husband Butch of Fairview, OK; Sharla Worley and husband Paul of Fairview, OK; Susie Boeckman and husband Bruce of Okeene, OK; and Debbie Pool and husband Gary of Alec, OK. 12 grandkids and 16 and counting great grandkids.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers Chuck McMahan and Richard McMahan and her only son, Terry D. Stevens.
