In lieu of a service, friends and family are invited to a memorial visitation for Kay Jean Frantz, 74, of Cleo Springs, on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Fairview Funeral Home. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
Kay Jean Frantz was born June 10, 1942 to Millie L. (Brinson) and Orval Henry Frantz on a farm near Aline, OK and passed from this life December 17, 2016 at Summers Health Services in Okeene after a lengthy illness.
She attended school in Fairview and in Enid. Kay was hired over the phone, no application needed, by the Cleo State Bank. She worked there for many years until she went out on her own to pursue her love of sewing, quilting and all things fabric. She enjoyed running her business, The Village Quilter where she loved visiting with everyone, while doing long arm quilting, custom sewing, and alterations and sold fabric.
She is survived by one aunt, Esther Frantz and numerous cousins.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and one sister, Sherrie Lynn Frantz.
