Keith Dale Huston was born December 23, 1947 to John Wicker and Ellen Wilma (Hoover) Huston on the family farm northwest of Isabella, Oklahoma. He passed away August 8, 2010 at the Fairview Fellowship Home.
Dale attended Isabella School. Dale attended the Fairview First Baptist Church as well as the Mennonite Brethren Church. He lived on the family farm most of his life. After his mother died in 1996 Dale moved with his sister Pat and Wilma to Fairview. Now living in Fairview, Dale became the jack-of-all-trades as he worked all over town for most of the business owners. During the winter, he would shovel snow and during the summer, he would wash windows, hoe weeds or any other odd jobs he could find. As the seasons changed, he would go to TH Rogers Lumber Yard and trade his hoe in for a shovel or what ever he needed at the time. Dale spent many days walking up and down Main Street of Fairview and stopping at every store to talk. He also spent a lot of time at the Sale Barn and Ewald Brothers Tires. Dale would always say hi and shake your hand and was known by most everyone in town, and will be missed.
Two brothers survive Dale, Jere Huston of Isabella and Phil Huston of Anna, Texas.
His parents, two brothers, John and Jack Huston and three sisters, Nettie Austin, Pat Huston and Wilma Huston preceded him in death.
In lieu of Flowers memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Fairview Fellowship Home.
