Funeral Services for Leroy Jefferson "Tuny" Keeton will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the Fairview First Church of the Nazarene in Fairview, Oklahoma. The Reverend Ronny Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. and at the church prior to the service.

Leroy Jefferson "Tuny" Keeton was born March 7, 1936 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Jefferson Davis Keeton and Opal (Humphrey) Keeton and passed away December 21, 2008 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma
Tuny attended Fairview High School and enlisted in the United States Navy, serving from 1955 to 1975. He married Mollie Watts on July 11, 1961 in Brewton, Alabama. After retiring from the Navy at his last station in Florida he spent less than a year as a plumber. The family then returned to Fairview where he went to work for the City of Fairview. Mollie passed away in 1993. Tuny retired from the city in 1999, after 23 years. He married Sally (Vangen) Lisle on March 24, 1994 in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma. He then transferred vehicles for Pete Eischen Chevrolet.
Tuny enjoyed life and always had a story to tell, usually about his family. He loved his wife and doted on his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those who loved him, and by his numerous friends.

Surviving are his wife, Sally of the home; children, Donna Ridgley and husband Bob of Cedar Springs, Michigan, Jennifer Hamen and husband David Michael Hamen, Jr. of Fairview; grandchildren Michael and Robert Ridgley, Chesnei and Micah Hamen; brothers Jim Keeton, Rusty Thomas, Jim Thomas; sisters Connie Swinford, Sharon Robinson, Carol Biles, Shirley Keeton and Diana Keeton.

His first wife Mollie, son Danny and two sisters preceded him in death.

Memorial donations may be made to the Leroy "Tuny" Keeton Memorial fund with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. serving as custodian of the funds.
