Lexa Marie (Mitchell) Ramey was born March 3, 1938 to Alvin James and Mildred Edith (Adcock) Mitcheal in Ramona, Oklahoma and passed away May 21, 2026, in Fairview, Oklahoma.  Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

She graduated from Ramona High School and also graduated from OSU and Northwester Oklahoma State University receiving a Master Degree.  Lexa loved to read and work crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Kay Bennett, sister Edith and husband John Medley; four grandchildren and two cousins.

Per her request, her ashes will be buried at Tyner Cemetery in Ramona, Oklahoma at a later date.
