Funeral Services for Linda Sue Giager, 61, of Fairview, will be 10:30a.m., Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Fairview, Oklahoma. The Rev. David Mendenhall will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Linda Sue (Croskey) Giager was born September 24, 1946 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Charles Henry and Nettie Beatrice (Hood) Croskey and died July 21, 2008 at her home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Linda attended Oney Public Schools to the ninth grade. She worked on the family farm raising cotton and peanuts and helping cook for her large family. On July 15, 1969, she married Kenneth Giager in Jackson, Mississippi. Following the wedding, they lived in Biloxi, Mississippi. For many years, Linda and Kenneth moved around, opening new restaurants and McDonalds. In 1973, the family moved to Fairview, Oklahoma. Linda spent her days taking care of the home and raising their children. She supported the children in all their school activities and was a wonderful cheerleader. Linda loved to travel, cook, camp out, fish, play cards and above all spend time with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Linda was a member of the Fairview First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth Giager; daughter Katherine Becker and husband Michael, all of Fairview; sons Danny Giager and wife Kristy of Fairview, Ricky Giager of Texas, Terry Giager and Kenneth E. Giager, both of Georgia; six brothers Bobby Croskey of Elk City, Oklahoma, Carl Croskey of Chickasha, Oklahoma, Frank Croskey, Mike Croskey, Dale Gilbert and Dean Gilbert all of Oney, Oklahoma; four sisters, Bernice Wilcox of Elk City, Mary Robison of Chickasha, Louise Gilbert of Colorado and June East of Binger, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; Ross, Cade, Ridge and Rylan Giager, Zeegan and Kaleigh Becker, all of Fairview, Todd Giager of Oklahoma City, Derrick Wilson of Okemah, Kenneth III of Tulsa, Shannon Giager of Mississippi, Heather Fowler of Oklahoma City, Justin Giager of Texas, and Brandi Giager of Oklahoma City; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her parents, six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
