Linda Ann Koehn was born March 23, 1962 in Fairview, OK the third child to Martin Chester and Margaret June (Edingfield) Koehn and passed away June 10, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, OK.

Linda grew up in Ringwood, OK most of her life where she also attended and graduated from Ringwood Public Schools. As a child growing up in rural Ringwood she spent many wonderful days playing and working with her big brother Chet and sister Patti, they all helped with a large garden and Linda learned a lot about vegetables and flowers she later used that knowledge when she worked with her mom at Shadetree Nursery.

Linda's passion was being a caregiver to handicap adults. She spent much of her adult life working at Enid State School and the past 14 years working for Evergreen an adult group home facility. She had a special gift for sharing her love and care to special needs people. She truly loved her job and everyone she took care of knew they were loved and respected by her. She had a special bond with her coworkers and was loved and admired by them.

Linda's love were her "Kids" her dogs, Tia, Zoey, Sugar, Sadie, Lucy and Chiquita. No matter where she was at home her constant companions were at her side. This past year when it became necessary for her to sleep in a hospital bed her dad made a ramp for her dogs to use to climb into bed with her at night, yes, all 6 together along with Linda in the same bed. The love of dogs also lead to her part-time job opening her own dog grooming shop behind her Grandma Anna's house in Fairview. She washed and groomed hundreds of dogs for pet owners in and around Fairview for over 25 years.

Linda knew as a juvenile diabetic that exercise and nutrition were very important to her daily health. She loved running and many neighbors witnessed her running around the section after work. She always stayed in good shape and loved setting in the sun.

The seven joys of her life were her "great nieces", Katelyn, Miranda, Hailey, Jazmyn, Aerial, Aurora and Belle. She loved being with them and they loved her in return. She also loved their parent's like they were her own. Her special nephews and nieces were Cody, Chris, Brenda and Tyler they were the children she never had.

Linda was a daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and friend we loved her very much and will forever hold her in our hearts.

Linda is survived by her parents, Martin and June Koehn of the home; one sister, Patti and husband Tracy Phillips of Mulhall; OK; three nephews, Cody and Chris Phillips of Mulhall, OK and Tyler Koehn of Ringwood; one niece, Brenda Klingaman of Crescent, OK; great nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends and her 6 precious dogs.

She was preceded in death by her brother Chester Koehn, Grandparents, Jack and Anna Edingfield and Nathan and Linda Koehn and a cousin, Marcus Peterson.
