Margaret Rose Inman's Obituary
Funeral services for Margaret Rose Inman, 83, of Waynoka, will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at the Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Barbara Fyffe officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Star Cemetery.
Margaret was born at Belva, OK, April 13, 1932 to Archie Leo and Lutreacy Ann (Long) Conaway and passed away January 2, 2016 at the Fairview Fellowship Home.
She was raised in the Major County area and graduated from Longdale High School, and in May of 1950 she married Lilburn Allen Inman. With the exception of two years in Albuquerque, the couple spent their life together in Major County. When her father's health prompted their return to Oklahoma, they took over the family farm and while Lilburn was working other jobs, she would take care of the family.
Over the years, she enjoyed memberships in the Waynoka Saddle Club and Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church, league bowling; but mostly playing with her grandkids.
Leaving behind to miss her is her sister Dorothy Vanderslice of Albuquerque, New Mexico and her children: Gary and wife Marcia of Gainesville, TX, Tommy and wife Elizabeth of Skiatook, James and wife Sharon of Waynoka, LaRhonda Rudd and husband Randy of Ponca City; fourteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one great-great grandbaby on the way, along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Lilburn, son Gregg and daughter-in-law Rita, her first grandchild, Stephanie, and 2 brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cheyenne Valley United Methodist Church or the Cheyenne Valley Community Building, with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc acting as custodian.
