Memorial Services for Martin "Dwayne" Graham, 71, of Fairview will be May 26, 2012, 2 pm at the Saron Mennonite Church with Rev. Arnold Curby officiating. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Martin "Dwayne" Graham was born in Seiling, Oklahoma on March 9, 1941. He went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2012. As a young man Dwayne repaired, reconditioned and painted all types of farm equipment. When computer technology took over the tractor industry, he became a truck driver working for Gainesville Fuel. He was the longest fulltime truck driver on their staff serving 23 years.

Dwayne served six years in the Army Reserves at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri gaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He spent many evenings riding with the Fairview Police Department and enjoyed that type of work so much he became a volunteer Deputy Sherriff. He also became a volunteer Fire Fighter with the Fairview Fire Department in 1969 and retired in 1989 with twenty years of service. In addition, he obtained his certification as an EMT and worked part-time for Major County EMS.

On August 1, 1963 Dwayne married the love of his life Lela May Kehn. To this union came Tammy Penland of Wichita, Tracy Pipins (John) of Woodward and Marty Graham of Woodward. He has four grandchildren Jeryka Pipins of Alva, Jacob Pipins of Woodward, Shandi (Penland) Husen (Joey) of Wichita and Jessica Penland of Wichita, and three great-grand children Adrian, Jayden and Canon Husen of Wichita. Dwayne loved his family and was always ready to brag about them to anyone he met.

Dwayne also had a great love for his Church family where he was a member of the Saron Mennonite Church at Orienta, Oklahoma. The reading "Footprints in the Sand" was especially meaningful to him and gave him comfort.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charley and Alta, two brothers Jim and Bill, three sisters Bernice Hamilton Wellborn, Verna Garner, and Alice Meeks Carpenter, and son-in-law Bradley Penland.

Dwayne is survived by one sister Maxine Miller (Adelbert) of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Sister-in-law Betty Graham of Mooreland, Oklahoma and many nieces & nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Fairview Home Health or Hospice Circle of Love with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. serving as custodian of the funds.
