Funeral Services for Mary "Ann" Nickel, 74, of Fairview, will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Fairview Central Christian Church. The Reverend Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Mary "Ann" Nickel was born May 22, 1936 in Selman, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord January 20, 2011. Ann's parents were Wilmer C. and Stella R. (Minks) Hoffman and Albert Zander. Ann had three brothers, Tom, Bill, and John as well as two sisters Wilma and Patricia. Ann graduated from Fairview High School in 1954. Ann married Ray Lee Nickel on February 2, 1959. They were blessed with two sons, David and Dennis. She attended St. Josephs nursing school and became a Registered Nurse in 1959. Ann proudly served the community of Fairview for over 44 years. She touched many lives and embraced them all with her selfless sacrifices. She was greatly loved by her family and many friends and will be deeply missed.

Ann is survived by her husband, Ray Lee Nickel; two sons, David Nickel and wife Kimberly of Moore, Oklahoma, Dennis Nickel and wife Christine of Surprise, Arizona; one brother, Tom Hoffman of Fairview; and three grandchildren, Dustin, Camden and Jadin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Fairview Hospital Foundation with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodian.
