Memorial service for Melissa Diane Lee, 56, of Fairview, will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 4, 2017 in the Fairview Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Randy Levings will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.
On February 26, 2017 the angels came and gathered her home – Melissa Diane Lee, our beloved wife, precious mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Melissa was born February 21, 1961 to Jeanne (Koehn) Greenya and Delmar Conaway in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She married Jimmie Lee of Fairview on November 11, 1977 and they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Mandy and Ashley.Her love for her family, Jimmie's family whom she thought of as her own, all her "Animal Friends" and her many friends, was well known. She enjoyed her nursing career and made many friends over the years. She never met a stranger – she was a happy child and a cheerful happy woman who did not hesitate to talk to everyone she met. Melissa was dearly loved by all who knew her. Oh, how we will all miss her!
She leaves to mourn her passing; her grieving husband Jimmie, two daughters Mandy (Lee) Kastning and her husband Adam and Ashley Jeanne Lee. Six grandchildren, Mathew, Nick, Alex, Wyatt, Austin and Ashlee. Her heart broken parents, Jeanne Greenya and husband William "Bill" of Prescott, Arizona, her sister Melinda Young, and two nephews Cole and Jon all of California. Jimmie's family, father-in-law George Stottmann of Ringwood, special friends Carla Schmidt and Connie Killman.
Preceding her in death was her grandson Bentley Wayne Lee, her step brother William "Bill" Greenya Jr., her maternal grandparents, Ben J. and Lenora Koehn of Fairview, her mother–in–law, Zola Stottmann of Ringwood, brother-in-law Bud Lee and sister-in-law Mary Lee.
Memorials may be made to the Melissa Lee Memorial Fund with Fairview Funeral Home Inc. acting as custodian.
