Funeral services for Patrick "Dean" Gibson, 34 of Hennessey, Oklahoma, formerly of Fairview, will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2016, at the Fairview First Baptist Church, in Fairview, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Dean was born November 11, 1981 in Enid to Joe "Boe" & Joann (Pace) Gibson. Dean passed away Tuesday, February 9th 2016 at his home in Hennessey after a brief illness.
Dean graduated from Fairview High School in Fairview OK, with the class of 2000. For most of his adult life, Dean worked in oilfield sales and for various Law Enforcement agencies, which was his true passion. At the time of his death he was employed at WB Oilfield Supply in Hennessey and was a Reserve Deputy for Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office. Previous agencies were Fairview Police Department, where he got his start in law enforcement. In 2006 he went to work for Hennessey Police Department as a Reserve Officer. In January of this year he started at Kingfisher County as a reserve deputy.
He is survived by three sisters; Alice, Amy and Abby Gibson, all of Fairview, one brother, Don Gibson of Enid, one nephew, Brad Gibson of Fairview and a great-nephew, Hunter Gibson also of Fairview.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe "Boe" & Joann Gibson.
