Quinda Jean Miller, age 70 of Fairview Oklahoma, was called home on Friday, April 19, 2013 after a long struggle with illness. She was born to the late Mary Francis Poff and Jack Patterson on December 27, 1942. Quinda was raised by her mother Mary and step-father Arthur Belew from the age of 6 until she married.

Quinda loved the Lord, family and friends. She married Elmer Doyle Winegeart on January 19, 1958 and began a family. She is survived by daughter Mary Rodriquez & husband Rick of Glen Rose, TX; son Ricky Winegeart of Marshall, OK; son Terry Winegeart & wife Mylee of Fairview, OK; daughter Sherry Buford & husband Robert of Ames, OK & daughter Debra Button & husband Lance of Fairview, OK.

Quinda celebrated her birthday in 1973 with the union of marriage to Max Leroy Miller. With this marriage she was blessed with four step-children Elizabeth Miller of Watonga, OK; Max & Kristy Miller of Geary, OK; Marc & Sheila Miller of Watonga, OK & Ethel Leann Sayers of Greenfield, OK. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, brothers Tom Belew, Leroy Belew, Donny Belew, Kenneth Patterson, & Alton Belew, sisters; Betty Langford & Patty Robertson, numerous loving relatives and friends. Quinda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Evelyn Jarvis, Janice Durfeldt, Linda Belew and step-grandson Robert Sayers.

She had several hobbies she enjoyed before her illness progressed. Quinda enjoyed gardening, reading, playing games, rock collecting and watching and recording movies to share with family. Science fiction was her favorite and she was quite the history buff.

Quinda is now at the Oklahoma University of Science. She generously donated her body to science and is now educating scholars about the devastation of the diseases of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder and Congestive Heart Failure.

Memorial services will be held May 4th at 2 p.m. at the Mennonite Brethren Youth building in Fairview OK. A celebration of her life will be shared in Glen Rose TX during the Belew family reunion at the end of May.
