Memorial Services for Robert Ray Morrison, 59 of Fairview, will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. Chapel. A military service will be held at the Gloss Mountain State Park in Cheyenne Valley, Oklahoma.

Robert Ray Morrison was born December 9, 1950 to Fred and Lillie Ann (Bekker) Morrison in Alva, Oklahoma and passed away September 8, 2010 at the Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Robert Ray Morrison lived in Dacoma, Oklahoma until his family moved to Walnut Grove, California. He returned to Oklahoma to raise his three children. He was a driller for many years and was a carpenter. Robert was a devoted husband of 35 years to Connie Gail (Andrews) Morrison. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Air Force. Robert loved fishing and rock hunting. He taught his kids about nature and Indian culture and always had time for his kin folk. He helped and loved all and will be greatly missed.

Bob is survived by his wife Connie Gail Morrison of the home; one son, Harold Wilson Doan of Galesburg, IL; two daughters, Angela Rae Holt of Fairview and Amanda Kay Kakel of Enid; two brothers, Carl Wayne Morrison and Mark Allen Morrison; and ten grandchildren, Christine, Elizabeth, Krystal, Morghan, Brendon Doan, Christopher and Jaycee Holt, Kaylee Rae Morrison, Mason Leatherman, and Hana Gail Kakel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jimmy Dale Morrison and one sister, Sara Morrison.
