Funeral Services for Ronnie "Mack" Patterson are 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2011 at the Fairview Central Christian Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Reverends Ronnie Hopkins and Wallace Cromwell will officiate. Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Mack was born December 18, 1945 in Fairview, Oklahoma to Mr. and Mrs. Daryle "Pat" Patterson, raised by his grandparents, Curtis "Pat" and Ada Patterson, and died May 25, 2011 at his home in Fairview.
He grew up and attended school in Fairview. Mack spent a short time in the Army before marrying Janice Marie Cromwell on April 5, 1969 in Wichita, Kansas and made their home in Fairview. To this union they were blessed with three children, Babbette Sue, Hoot Mac, and Brandee LaDawn. Mack worked 32 years for the city of Fairview as water plant supervisor, retiring in 2006. He served as President of the American Legion. Mack was a member of the Central Christian Church.
Mack loved spending time with family, special friends and his dogs. He also enjoyed garage sales, fishing, hunting and quilting.
Mack is survived by his wife Janice Marie; three children, Babbette and Terry Hurt, Hoot and Shelly Patterson, and Brandee and Lucky Roof; six grandchildren, Destiny Marie and Jacob Lee Hurt, Brandie and Justin Kammerer and Samatha Patterson, Nickolaus Jadin and Nathan Andrew Roof; and one great-grandchild, Westyn Patterson; brother Denny Pat and Sharon Patterson; special friends, Ron Mayes, Terry Mitch, Jerry Woodard and Ed Gifford.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Curtis Lemuel "Pat" and Ada Elizabeth Patterson, his father, Daryle "Pat" and mother Euletta Kimball and one sister, Lila Jean.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Christian Church or MDS Foundation with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodian.
