Funeral Services for Rosalee Kepford Jackson, age 84, who passed over peacefully in her sleep June 22, 2010 in Olathe, Kansas will be at 2:00 p.m. on June 25th at Fairview Central Christian Church. Reverend Ronnie Hopkins will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Rosalee was born as the last of six children to Floyd Elvin and Eunice Pearl Duning Kepford on April 12, 1926 in a log farmhouse southeast of Wetumka, Oklahoma in Hughes County.

She married Charles William (Bill) Jackson (now deceased) Sept. 12, 1942, in Fairview Oklahoma. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas after marriage. Then in 1978 moved to Oklahoma.

Rosalee was a member of the First Christian Church. She served as First Christian Outreach Chairperson, Elder in the First Christian Church, and President of Christian Women's Fellowship locally and district-wide.
As a published author, Rosalee held lifetime memberships in the Kansas Authors Club, Intercontinental Biographical Association, Poetry Society of Oklahoma, the National League of American Pen Women, and the Intercontinental Platform Association and the Ladies Music Club.

Surviving Rosalee are three fine sons, William Charles Jackson, wife Claudine, Dana Andrew Jackson, wife Edith, and Kevin Lee Jackson, wife Debera. Rosalee had the joy of welcoming 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandsons.

Rosalee is preceded in death by her husband Charles (Bill) William Jackson, her siblings Willard Floyd, Harold Wilber, Alice Pauline, Alfred Wayne and George Howard Kepford.

Memorials may be made to Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Basic Missions Finance or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
