Sam was born May 5, 1923 to Sam Patzkowsky and Amelia (Weber) Patzkowsky near Isabella, Oklahoma and passed away November 17, 2020 at the Fellowship Home, Fairview, Oklahoma. Sam Jr. attended the Homestead School. He married Pearl (Meisner) Patzkowsky on October 19, 1947. Together they had a beautiful daughter, Reon Renda Patzkowsky Friesen. Pearl passed away on March 1, 1974 and Sam married Dorthy (Kliewer) Nikkei, on April 19, 1975.
Sam Jr. loved his family, loved his Lord and loved farming. One of his greatest joys in life was being able to purchase and carry on the legacy of the Patzkowsky Centennial Farm that was staked out by his grandfather, John David Patzkowsky, in 1896.
Sam is survived and loved by his son-in-law, Al Friesen, his grandchildren, Darren Friesen and Reandra Friesen, his stepchildren, Wynetta Garrett and husband Terry, and Keith Nikkei and wife Rosemary, his nephew and caretakers Rudy Patzkowsky and wife, Verla and his many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Amelia Patzkowsky, his siblings Arlo Patzkowsky, Eunice Patzkowsky Karber, Marcine Patzkowsky, Lovella Bernice Patzkowsky Ewald, and Earl Patzkowsky, his wives Pearl and Dorthy, and his daughter Reon.
In lieu of flowers, to honor Sam Jr., memorials are suggested to Russell Murray Hospice, (2001 Park View Dr, El Reno, OK 73036), or Fairview Fellowship Home (605 E State Rd, Fairview, OK , 73737), or a charity of your choice with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodian.
Family will be present and have requested that everyone wears a mask. Thanks!
