Funeral Services for Shirley Carol Wilder, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 in the Fairview Assymble of God Church in Fairview, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

Shirley Carol Wilder was born June 25, 1941 to William and Opal (Reed) Hicks in Canton, Oklahoma and passed away on December 11, 2011 at her home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Shirley was born in Canton, Oklahoma where she also grew up. She married James D. Buster Wilder on August 31, 1957 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Shortly after their marriage they moved to Fairview where they settled and spent most of time as a home maker. She loved to crochet and work in her garden. Shirley enjoyed her computer and spent a lot of her time on it. She loved cooking and was an excellent at it. She kept her home clean and was a great homemaker and housewife. Shirley was proud of her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.. Shirley was adored by her husband, children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

She is survived by her three sons, James Wilder, Jr. and his wife Gayla of Fairview, Gary Wayne Wilder and wife Sheila of Bonny Lake, Washinton; Dennis Gene Wilder and wife Jackie of Fairview; two daughters, Judy Spomer and husband Wesley of Lahoma; Susan Burghardt and husband JW of Longdale; four brothers, Gerald Hicks and his wife Lesly of Hichcock; Allen Hicks of California, Randy Hicks of Geary; Michael Hicks and wife Sherry of Okeene; two sisters, Linda Quisenberry and husband Mike of Okeene, and Sherry Smith and husband Mike of Watonga. 17 grandchildren, Stephanie, Tamra, Karie, David, Amber, Matt, Andrea, Derick, Ashley, Kimbree, Codi Jo, Tony, Karen, Dayton, Tosha, Daniel, Kaylie, and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, three sisters and one brother.
