Memorial Service for Susan Carol Doud, 65, of Ringwood will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Ringwood Community Center in Ringwood, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
Susan Carol Doud was born on October 14, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas to Enest and Beatrice Willie (Fields) Lytle and passed away at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa Fairview, Oklahoma on November 25, 2021.
She grew up and attended school in Coffeyville and Enid before moving to Cleo Springs and living on the family farm. Susan met the love of her life, Marvin Doud, and they were married on June 5, 1976. Susan and Marvin were blessed with three children, Tanya, David, and Marvin Jr. She was a giving person that loved to help others. She helped many elderly people in the area with their day-to-day needs. Because of Susan, they could remain living in their homes.
Susan loved the out doors and going camping. She also loved Thrift Stores and could not pass one up. However, Garage Sales was her favorite. Any time she knew of a Garage Sale, she would be there and normally dragging a family member with her. Susan was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother that will be truly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Susan is survived by her husband Marvin, one daughter, Tanya and Doug Farnsworth, two sons, David and Heather Gilley and Marvin Doud Jr. and girlfriend Barbara Gonzales , eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren with one on the way, one brother, Chet and Pam Lytle, and one sister, Rosemary Prince.
Susan was preceded by her parents and one brother Ernie Lytle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan Doud Memorial Fund with Fairview Funeral Home, Inc. acting as custodian.
