Memorial Services for Tommy Wade Harder, 57, of Fairview, will be 11:00a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Fairview, Oklahoma. The Rev. David Mendenhall, Rev. Steve Graham and Ryan Reese will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

There will be no viewing. Friends may sign the register book at Fairview Funeral Home Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or at the church on Thursday.

Tommy Wade Harder was born November 7, 1950 in Enid, Oklahoma to Allen George and Frances (Seibel) Harder and passed away June 23, 2008 at his home in Fairview, Oklahoma.

Tommy attended Progressive School, east of Fairview, through the Eighth Grade and graduated from Fairview High School in 1969. Shortly after graduation Tommy was drafted into the United States Marine Corp and served two years. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Fairview. Tommy married Susie O'Dell on August 31, 1973 in Fairview. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and North Oklahoma College. Tommy spent most of his life working in the Oil and Gas Industry, was employed by many companies through the years, most recently Mustang Gas Products. He belonged to the First Baptist Church of Fairview, was an active member, serving as a deacon, taught youth Sunday school and was involved in the senior saint ministry. Tommy served on the Fairview Municipal Hospital board for many years. He was also on the board of directors for Serving Christ Outreach Center.

Tommy was a lover of nature and spent as much time as possible outside, whether it was tending to cattle, working in the garden or hunting and fishing. He greatly enjoyed fishing for trout in Colorado. Tommy loved life enjoyed a good joke or pulling a prank. Tommy was an avid OU fan and frequently took his friend Brady to the games. He was a wonderful, loving and supportive husband, father and Pap.
He will be missed by all whose life he touched.

He is survived by his wife Susie Harder of Fairview; son Matt Harder of Norman, Oklahoma and daughter Heidi Bonham and husband Kyle of Edmond, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren, Griffin and Blair Bonham of Edmond.

His parents; one sister, Linda; and one brother, Tim, preceded him in death.
