Graveside Services for Vernon L. Krob, 76, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Vernon L. Krob, Fairview, was born, February 24, 1937, to Clarence M. and Viola E. (Gulick) Krob. He passed away November 12, 2013 at his daughter's home in Enid. Graveside services will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 7-9 pm at the Fairview Funeral Home.

He grew up on a farm west of Aline and graduated from Aline High School in 1955. Vernon held various jobs during his adult life his last being at Aline High School. He enjoyed his cat Smokey, gardening, riding his scooter, visiting with friends in the community and on the computer.

He married Patricia M. Crane on April 2, 1962 in Alva, Oklahoma.
They lived in Alva, Perry, Enid, Topeka, KS, Wichita Falls, TX, Carmen, Fairview and Aline before moving back to Fairview to be near their daughter.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Fairview. His daughters and their husbands, Lynita and Rudy Zajack, Central Point, OR, Jaqueta and Gerald Byerly, Enid, OK, and Kena Leigh and Eugene Lollman, Fairview. His grandchildren, Chris Kaiser, Enid, OK, Buck Easterly, Oklahoma City, OK, Layla Zajack, Central Point, OR, Anna Bloomquist, Central Point OR, and Bria Ary, Enid, OK, Sara Byerly, Dallas, TX and Patricia Smith, Enid, OK. Great grandchildren; Maggie, Ethan, Taryn, Richard, Jade, Sophie and William, Kamden, Kali, and Kolin. His sister and her husband, Winnie and Harold Melrose, Enid, OK and his brother and wife, Leslie and Dorothy Krob, Centennial, CO.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Leo and sister Virginia.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the Enid SPCA with the Fairview Funeral Home as custodian.
