Funeral Services for Wayne Anthony Hubble, 65, of Fairview, will be 1:30 pm, Monday, November 2, 2020 at the First United Methodist Church in Fairview.  Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.  Reverend Andrew Haire will officiate.  Arrangements by Fairview Funeral Home Inc..

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 3 to 6 pm.  Wayne was a cowboy and the family wishes for people to dress appropriately in blue jeans and boots if they so desire.

Wayne Anthony Hubble was born on July 20, 1955 in a little farm house in Fairview, Oklahoma to Ella Rena (Koehn) and Claire Hubble. He departed this life October 27, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma at Bass Hospital.

He attended Fairview Public School, where he participated in Ag, Football #65, and High School Rodeo. After graduation he continued on with rodeo life as a bareback and bull rider. He rode bulls until 1978 where he then became a steer wrestler for 25 years. He was one hell of a steer wrestler and even helped teach the young pups.

Wayne had his world changed in 1977 when he met Tammy Hurst. They dated and was married November 12, 1982. They made their residents in Fairview on their plot of land. In 1985, Wayne and Tammy were blessed with their first daughter Brittany (Hubble) Goodin and then in 1989 blessed with their second daughter Danielle Hubble. Wayne was a man of few words and seen as rough around the edges, however in 2013 Kadence Goodin (Cotton Top) was born and he became a big Teddy Bear. In 2016 the second granddaughter Paisley Goodin (Tornado) was born and became his little sidekick. He loved to play with his granddaughters especially giving them knuckle sandwiches. Those girls knew that when Papa was there he was going to get them donuts.

Rodeo was Wayne's way of life and he built his family on those values. Many rodeo people became friends and soon family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and there to encourage others. He worked in numerous oil field positions until purchasing his own 18 wheeler and started his own business, Wayne Hubble Trucking.  He retired to be a care giver to his late mother Ella Rena Hubble. After retirement he was found taking his wife to all her breast cancer doctor appointments, playing with his granddaughters, playing solitaire on his tablet, working with the animals, playing with his dogs, and taking care of the farm. He always enjoyed visitors to stop by and visit

Wayne is survived by his wife Tammy Hubble of Fairview, daughters Brittany (Hubble) Goodin of Owasso, and Danielle Hubble of Edmond, granddaughters Kadence and Paisley Goodin of Owasso, Son-in-law Brian Goodin, sisters Connie Parr and husband Bob of Nash, Marilyn Ramay of Richlands, NC and Carol Hubble of Ponca City, mother in law Sandy Hurst Newton and husband Charles of Fairview, brother in law Terry Hurst and wife Cindy of Cleo Springs, numerous nieces and nephews, the rodeo family, close family friends.

Wayne is preceded in death by his mother Ella Rena Hubble, father Claire Hubble, father in law Dwayne Hurst, brother Lonnie Hubble, sister Linda Taylor, grandmother Lola Morris, and sister in law Barbara Hubble.
