Obituary

William "Bill" Arthur Pauline, Jr., 78, of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma passed away on October 16, 2006. He will be cremated at his request and there will be a private memorial service, held at their home from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm Thursday, Ocotober 19, 2006, family and friends are welcome to attend. Arrangements were made by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

William "Bill" Arthur Pauline, Jr., was born November 1, 1927 in Springfield, Missouri to William Arthur and Mary Clara (Conrady) Pauline and passed away October 16, 2006 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma.

After Bill finished school he became an apprentice Machinist for the Frisco Railroad. He served in the Maritime Coast Guard during World War II and Korea. Bill pioneered the live bait business in the state of Oklahoma, someone else ran his business while he was in the service but after an honorable discharge he traveled across seven states delivering bait. He and his mother Mary Pauline owned and operated the Bamboo Club in Enid, Paulines Bait Shop at Fort Supply and Canton Lake. He also built the Twig Supper Club which is now the Moose Lodge in Enid and a Commercial Minnow Dealer. He was in this business for over sixty years. Bill and Jeanne (McEachern) Suenram Pauline made their home North of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife Jeanne Pauline of Cleo Springs, Oklahoma and several cousins

He was preceded in death by his parents.
